Great Movie!
Robby12341 March 2009
Oh Baby! is one funny movie. It's not only about a guy who desperately wants a baby, but it is a love story with a six-inch twist. Oh boy was it funny! The story line and acting was phenomenal. If you liked Napolean Dynamite you will love this movie. It reminds me of Napolean Dynamite taking a Los Angeles version of a Roman Holiday with a wicked twist. This movie is one that I will not soon forget. I was expecting something totally different than what I experienced. I didn't want this movie to end, but I am hopeful that there will be a sequel. If you want to see a great movie this one is for you. In one sentence, Oh Baby! is awesome.

LA Girl's Movie Review
LAMovieReviewGirl1 March 2009
This movie is as funny and cool as Swingers. I laughed so hard I fell off the couch.

The realness and uniqueness of the characters combined with the quintessential Los Angeles locations shown in this film made me forget that I was watching a movie and instead helped me experience someone else's life. The fact that a man in Los Angeles could possibly want to have a baby is supposed to be a very hard pill to swallow, however, Mr. Rothblatt not only helps you lose any preconceptions about expected gender roles, but he also helps you embrace a new perspective. Needless to say, I highly recommend this movie!

Delightful Surprise
georginasworld3 October 2012
Not since the days of Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, Fred, Ginger (need I go on?) have I had so much fun watching a movie. The musical numbers - yes, there are musical numbers with top-drawer choreography - caught me completely by surprise. I was told the film dealt with transsexualism. So there I was, waiting for the angst and pontifications. Instead, I got swooped along in a MUSICAL ROMANCE worthy of Woody Allen. Oh, there are life lessons here, but nothing that impedes the momentum. It's just a very nice movie. Might be a "chick flick" but for a tasteful bit of nudity and some pretty realistic, though decidedly NOT pornographic, love-making. Oh, and there's a plethora of long-legged lovelies with enormous breasts running in high heels. All part of the plot, of course.
