Basically I wasn't watching this show until I heard this..."most people murdered are not pillars of society, this woman was, so we asked for the death penalty." Apparently this Pinellas county Florida DA's first one. They didn't get it, but it made me think, if we get murdered and robbed, u won't ask for the death penalty because we weren't high class enough to warrant that? What exactly are you thinking? This 50 something woman had a sketchy past.....so she deserved to be brutally murdered in her own home then robbed? Wow, I wish I could watch this whole episode again, but that really stood out. Unfortunately I've lived in Florida for 20+ years and find this to be very close to the truth. Personally, I'm looking forward to the day they make a movie about Orlando, Florida MBI and their uncover investigation of stripe joints (or 1 stripe joint in particular?), for 9 months of sitting around getting drunk, having sex and doing drugs at the cost of something like $94,000.....and not one person ended up prosecuted for anything serious. (That I know of). It would be funnier than any Elmore Leonard/Carl Hiaasen book ever written. (Think Tourist Season & Striptease combined!!)
