I was captivated by this title and its provocative movie poster. As a feminist, I am normally turned off pictures of bikini-clad women and fat white-suited men stuffing their faces together with other large muscular men draped over muscle cars. I was ready to hate "Worst Tv Show Ever", but strangely I found this movie sweet, funny and somewhat sad. The all business and no heart Mitch Wolfe character, the producer of this failed project initially turned me off with his brusque personality. But over the course of this very entertaining movie, I saw his vulnerability and fragility. In the same way, through this very thoughtful and insightful movie, I saw the humanity and vulnerability of these three lovable chunky losers, Boss Hogg, Rinaldo and Johnny. Beneath their crude exteriors, lay the hearts and souls of three sad middle aged men, stuck on a ferris wheel to nowhere. Until they get this one last chance for fame and fortune and relevance. I wanted to hate this film. But by the end of the film, I empathized with the sad fate of these three little men.
