Look, it's harmless enough, and typical "end of the weekend before work starts on Monday fair." Ben Miller is always good to watch, I enjoy the fantasy hallucinations Professor T has, but some of the acting (hello DCI Rabbit) is poor.

Another high quality episode.

Who on Earth has poisoned a Librarian? The Police once again then to Professor T for help.
Proof if any was needed, that the first episode wasn't simply a fluke, this second installment shows that this is a quality series, this episode has a multiple of positives.
It's a great mix of serious drama, and light hearted fun, the actual storyline itself is gritty, and pretty sad, the humour once again comes primarily from Frances de la Tour, what a great piece of casting.
A cohesive episode, with cause and effect, plus an appealing conclusion.
Very good, 9/10.

Another strong episode which will have new viewers endeared with the whimsical humour and emotional storyline.
Ingrid has a bigger role this time and we get to know her quirks as well as those of the professor.
A great watch with Christina having more je ne sais quoi than the same character in the Belgian version (they spoke Dutch rather than French!).
Even if your only like this show then you will love the original Belgian show.

A Fish Called Walter

When a librarian is poisoned at a reception. The police question if he was the intended victim.
Suspicion turns to Claudine Froggatt who suspects her husband Roy is having an affair.
As Professor T notes the poisoning is rare but is normally carried out by women.
Later a man falls to his death at a construction site. He was involved in a dispute with Roy Froggatt over his daughter's ill health.
Roy was involved in a cover up over some building development in contaminated land.
There were a few nice quirky touches including a victim called Fell who was pushed off a building. Quiet why Mr Fell would confront Roy in such a precarious position is another question entirely.
However I did wonder just what Professor T brought to the table in this one. The police should had cracked the case with normal police work and deduction.
