Plot

Sarah is in police custody, but John and Cameron disobey her orders and help her escape. The three then go to Zeira Corp so that Sarah can confront Catherine Weaver, and Cameron can confront John Henry.

With Sarah now in police custody, John and Cameron hide in a cheap motel. John is concerned about his mother's recent weight loss and thinks that Cameron may be a source of radiation poisoning. Sarah manages to get a message to John via Father Armando Bonilla, the priest they had met in Mexico. Meanwhile, Catherine Weaver asks Ellison to arrange for her to meet John. Despite his mother's advice to leave the city and forget about her, John decides to try and set her free and Cameron agrees to stage a one-person assault at the prison where Sarah is being held. Afterwards, Sarah and John finally meet Weaver face-to-face who, it turns out, has a considerably different agenda than they might have expected. Sarah Connor is now in custody. An FBI agent goes through a list of all of crimes. She killed Miles Dyson and blew up CyberDyne; blew up a bank with her son and unknown female; and now she kidnapped Savannah Weaver. He asks her where her son is. She tells him that he is dead. Agent Ellison comes in and tells her again that he had nothing to do with her getting arrested. She tells him that Savannah is not safe from things that she can't mention. She looks up at the security camera to says again that she is not safe.

John and Cameron are at some hotel in the middle of no where. John says that they should keep on moving, Cameron disagrees. She also will not allow John to go after his mother. It would be too dangerous. John wants access to a computer. She thinks that he wants to reseach the blue-prints for the prison that Sarah is locked up in. He says no, he wants to research shielded nuclear sources. Cameron responds, 'like mine?'. He wants to study their effects on people and if they can cause cancer.

John Henry is shown playing a Dungeons and Dragons game with the tech guy who wears glasses. Catherine Weaver asks him who quickly they will be able to move John Henry. Tech Guy says that it might not be a good idea. When they changed a wire in the system, it made John Henry throw a fit. A summarizes that all cables and circuits here make up John Henry. Changing anything will change him.

Back at the prison, Sarah has asked to see a priest. It is the same Spanish priest from the Season Premiere when Cameron went crazy. She asks him if he believes in the Devil. The actual Devil. He tells her that anyone or thing that opposes the God is the Devil. She does know about God or Heaven but she knows that there is a Devil who wants the world to burn. She tells him that he saw something with her Daughter at the church. Terrible things and can't be explained but she can explain it to him if he can do something for her.

We see that John Henry is monitoring the meeting between Sarah and the priest. Agent Ellison comes in. Catherine Weaver wants to meet John Connor. She knows that Sarah thinks that he is a messiah and she wants to know why. She knows that Cameron is a Terminator. Ellison says that he will never see her without his mother and that they have no idea where he is hiding. Weaver says that she can find out.

The Priest calls John Connor and the proper code is punched into the phone. We see the Spanish girl from Season 1 exiting the church. Agent Ellison is waiting in a car. She goes to their hotel room with fake IDs and passports. John is looking through them for a message. There is nothing. The Spanish girl says that she has a message from Sarah. They should leave her and run. Don't worry about her. She mentions that we all lost the ones we love. She leaves and Cameron looks out the window and says that something is interesting. She leaves and throws Agent Ellison into the room. He once again tells them that he nothing to do with Sarah's capture. He tells them that Catherine Weaver wants to meet with them. He says that he has a message for 'HER'. John is confused... He asks her:

"Will you join us?" *gasp* (same thing was said from the episode of Last Voyage of the Jimmy Carter)

Cameron looks kind of freaked out by the message and Agent Ellison leaves. John wonders what the message means but Cameron says that she does not know. John does not believe her.

Weaver asks Ellison when she will see John Connor. He says once again that he will not leave his mother. Weaver asks again if Ellison delivered the message exactly like she told him, too.

The next morning, Cameron is watching John sleep. He is freaked out and tells her that his mom use to do that and he hated it. Cameron says that he has to know her body. She proceeds to strip and take off her bra. She asks John to straddle her and takes out a knife. She says to cut below the breast plate and feel inside. He says that it feels cold and that was a good thing. She tells him that they have to go.

Terminator who tried to kidnap Savannah has arrived at Zeira Corp. A guard comes out and asks if he is the guy to ran down his gate. He pulls out his guns and shoots the guard. Catherine Weaver shows up commenting on how she really liked that gate. Terminator asks her, "Catherine Weaver??". She answers, "I suppose." T-888 opens fire on her. He looks confused as the liquid metal on her body morphs back to normal. She then spears him with her arms. Jams her other arm into the circuit box and electricutes the T-888.

Cameron calls the priest. The priest goes back to the prison to see Sarah. She is confused as to why he is even there. He tells her that they have a message for her. "She is coming." We hear muffled gun-fire outside. Cameron has arrived at the prison with a shot gun. She is getting blasted but she decides to go Arnold on them and only shoot to injure and not kill. John Henry is monitoring the situation. He over-rides all of the locks on the prison doors. They all open. All of the prisoners are all over the place. Cameron with half her face shot off finds Sarah and they run outside. John is outside in a getaway car. They proceed to see Catherine Weaver.

They are in the lobby where John asks Sarah if she is ok. He mentions the weight loss, etc.. She does not say anything. Ellison arrives to take them to see Catherine Weaver. He tells her that he loves her. Cameron is suppose to be waiting in the car. They see Catherine Weaver who proceeds to ask John questions about Skynet. She is trying to build something to fight Skynet in the future. They are all confused. She knows about Cameron going to the basement to see John Henry. We see Cameron open the door to John Henry and takes out a knife. In the background, we see that plane thing that rose out of the water in the episode, Desert Cantos. Weaver says 'Get Down'. The plane thing crashes into the building and Weaver turns into a silver shield to protect Ellison, Sarah and John. There is a huge explosion with gunfire, etc... Ellison, Sarah and John leave the room. The plane thing is completely destroyed. Weaver turns back to human and this worm shape thing flopping the ground turns silver and merges with her leg. It was the eel in her fishtank.

They run down to the basement. It looks the building is about to collaspe. Weaver joins them. They open the door and they see Cameron's body. The little light in her eye is out. John Henry is gone. John Connor says that John Henry took her chip. Weaver says that she gave it to him. On the screen we see a message repeated over and over again:

"I am sorrry, John"

John recognizes the Turk and then Weaver starts to activate something. She emphasizes again she is building something to fight SkyNet. Buzzing starts and Sarah recognizes the three dots on the computer. The time machine has started. John keeps on saying that he has her chip. Sarah looks at him and steps out of the bubble. Sarah says that she will find a way to stop it. Weaver tells Ellison that he should go and pick up her daughter from school.

Naked John and Weaver arrive in the future. John finds some clothes while Weaver morphs into her own. We hear voices saying that they found one. Weaver is gone. A bunch of guys with guns come out. John tells out that he is not 'metal'. We suddenly see Derek come out. He does not recognize him. He says that he is John Connor but he does not recognize the name. He says something about him being famous because he has his brother's clothes on. We turn arond to see Kyle Reese. We also see a human Cameron playing with a dog. No one knows who John Connor since he went forwards in time.

The end scene shows another time machine bubble show up in the future. We here buzzing see some lightning. We hear Sarah say, "I love you, too".
