  Meowth : [laughs]  What? And miss out on playin' wit' toys and messin' wit' YOU?'!

  [the Gliscor Bot's tail is aiming for Gligar, much to its surprise] 

  Ash Ketchum : LOOK OUT!

  [grabs Gligar before both are suspended by the tail from behind] 

  Ash Ketchum : AAAAHHH! Quick, Gligar, you've gotta get movin'.

  [throws Gligar in the canyon] 

  Gligar : Gli! GLI'!'!'!'!'!'!'!

  [Team Rocket gasps in shock] 

  Jessie : The twerp flipped.

  James : [angrily pointing at Ash]  Bad twerp!

  Ash Ketchum : [struggling]  No, you don't.

  [Unfortunately, at the same time Ash escapes the machine's grasp, he also falls into the canyon] 

  Ash Ketchum : Aaaaaaahh!

• [after both Gligar and Ash fell into the canyon to escape Team Rocket] 

  Ash Ketchum : WAHHHH!

  [Gligar gets shocked in mid-fall once noticing Ash falling past her and tries to stop him from falling, but isn't fast enough] 

  Gligar : Gligar!

  [calls to Ash, grinning] 

  Gligar : GLIGAR!

  Ash Ketchum : GLIGAR, HEADS UP!

  [pulls the Razor Fang out of his pocket and throws it at Gligar] 

  Ash Ketchum : The Razor Fang! GRAB it!

  Gligar : [heads for the Razor Fang and grabs it]  Gli!

  [as soon as Gligar grabbed the Razor Fang, it starts evolving, much to Ash's delight, and is revealed to have evolved into Gliscor once the light enshrouding it fades] 

  Gliscor : Gli, Gliscor.

  Ash Ketchum : [delighted]  It evolved!

  [looks down in shock] 

  Ash Ketchum : Huh?'! Whoa!

  [continues shouting and flailing uncontrollably, until Gliscor appears out of nowhere and grabs him] 

  Gliscor : Gli.

  [lowers its tail to the ground to cushion the impact] 

  Ash Ketchum : Thanks, Gliscor. What a catch.

  Gligar : Gli, Gliscor.

• [after Gligar successfully plows a tall tree, which now connects both sides of the canyon] 

  Ash Ketchum : You did it, Gligar!

  [happily dancing with Gligar] 

  Ash Ketchum : You did it!

  [twirls Gligar] 

  Ash Ketchum : You did it!

  [calmly holds up the Razor Fang] 

  Ash Ketchum : You know what that means. You can use the Razor Fang and evolve if you want to.

  Gligar : [amazed]  Gli...

  [happily hugs Ash] 

  Gligar : Gligar!

• [When James is trying to wake up Jessie and Meowth, Ash and Gligar managed to climb out of the chasm, much to Ash's exhaustion] 

  Gligar : [nervous]  Gligar?

  Ash Ketchum : [calmly]  I'm telling you, you gotta stop worrying. Now first things first, we gotta figure out how to cross.

  [notices a tall tree near the cliff] 

  Ash Ketchum : I've got it. That'll work. 'Kay, Gligar,

  [pointing at the tree] 

  Ash Ketchum : Use Steel Wing to knock down that tree!

  Gligar : [jumps up]  Gligar!

  Ash Ketchum : That's it! Now give it all you got!

  Gligar : [determined]  Gli.

  [heads for the tree] 

  Gligar : Gar!

  [hits the tree, but gets knocked back] 

  Gligar : Gli!

  [gets rebounded back into Ash's arms] 

  Ash Ketchum : [concerned]  You all right?

  Gligar : [notices the pain in its pincers]  Gli.

  [struggles to get up, and manages to unfazed] 

  Gligar : Gli.

• [after Gligar manages to get up unfazed, despite its failure to knock down a tree] 

  Ash Ketchum : [shocked]  Whoa, what's gotten into you?

  [excited] 

  Ash Ketchum : Way to go! I know you can do it now!

  Gligar : Gli!

  Ash Ketchum : 'Kay, use Steel Wing!

  Gligar : [standing on its tail]  Gli!

  [flapping its wings]
