The Green Arrow that appears here is an early version of the character. In "The Brave and the Bold" comic (issue #85, August-September 1969), artist Neal Adams gave the character a makeover, setting the stage for Green Arrow's partnership with Green Lantern in the comics, drawn by Adams, written by Denny O'Neil.
In an early scene, Batman and Green Arrow fight escapees from Gotham Prison, including Louie the Lilac, Egghead, Bookworm, Shame, the Archer, Mad Hatter, Siren, Minerva, Clock King, King Tut, Black Widow, Ma Parker, and False Face - all seen on the 60s TV series (although the version of Clock King shown is a combination of the comic book version and the TV version as seen when his mask opens and his face is revealed). Also spotted are Felix Faust, Kite-man and one of his henchmen.
