Some in the FNDM our upset they aren't part of the shows crew. They claim that it's doesn't go anywhere, people this isn't a filler like they have in DBZ so grow up.

The Return to Form Continues
thepartygod29 April 2023
Following up the excellence of Volume 6, Volume 7 continues by giving us an interesting extended cast to interact with while our heroes venture through Atlas. Their fortunes seem to be finally reversing as they form an uneasy partnership with General James Ironwood who grants them huntsman licenses and a goal to work towards, but they are soon swallowed in the nation's political turmoil.

RWBY volume 7 sets up a massive theater for events to come. You get a new design for all of the characters as well as some upgrades and training to level up their skills and abilities. The brief flirtation with lightheartedness is cut short by the darker themes that come creeping back halfway through the seasons and raise the stakes back up and further than they were before.

Trust Love
TheAlanomaly28 April 2023
RWBY's seventh installment gave an amazing portrayal of the concepts of trust, secrecy, deception, and betrayal, from numerous angles with varying justifications. In addition to this, the first half of a fall from grace, almost Icarus style character is given in one of the show's allies-turned-antagonists, whom the volume portrayed beautifully leading up to what the following installment would do as a follow up. The political thriller aspect of RWBY shines in this Volume with its messages of who can or can't be trusted, and its messages of what fear can do to us, whether in our best of times, or worst of times.

Gorgeously painful

An all around wonderful season with a wicked cliffhanger ending that just kept pulling out all the stops! Yet more beautiful animation, vocal work and musical scores, all coming together to produce a stunning beautiful show. I was on the edge of my seat for so much of it. The political intrigue, the new characters, the way everyone seemed to grow and splinter under pressure is just fantastic. Light humour balanced out the incredibly heavy stakes. I was always desperate to see more, and have enjoyed every single rewatch of this season. Fantastic new designs for all the characters I am absolutely just in love with this show and this season.

Comfort show!

Warning: Spoilers
Honestly can't rate it any higher! I love the outfit change! This season was the like moment of rest for the team before the absolute train wreck of trauma the next season will cause! The sound track is also amazing! And my poor penny! She is so innocent and just amazing, watts and tryian We cool to see. They aren't as up front as cinder and her little minions, so see them attack and following them was cool. Out of all the villian minions Salem has Tyrian freaks me out (which is the point!) which makes me like his character... but damn... killing clover hurt. And the fight scenes for ace ops vs rwby and Tyrian vs clover/robin/qrow was great!

A great start to the best arc of the show!
shslruby28 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Volume 7 is the start of the Atlas arc, an arc that would delve into some of the best exploration of the characters we've ever seen, the best production the show's ever given us, and the beginning to the deep dive of Ruby Rose, a character from the beginning who had been what one would have thought to be largely neglected, but rather, shown to have been bottling up emotions and feelings ever since the start. The pacing can get a little slow in the middle, but that doesn't stop how the action has gotten really sick! I also want to thank this volume for having, in my opinion, the best ending arc to a volume in my opinion, that being Episode 11, 12, and 13.

Favorite volume!
nickgerard-7980129 April 2023
Last few episodes in particular are absolutely amazing... fight scenes are some of the best in the series, music is probably also my favorite out of all the volumes, and the way the tension steadily grows as the volume goes on is so well-done - the climax has so many layers to it, and keeps surprising you. The final monologue of the final episode is one of my favorite scenes in the entire series, it's so well-written.

The animation (especially in the last few episodes) is also incredible. I've always felt like no other show does fight scenes as well as RWBY does, and this volume is probably the one that best showcases that. Highly recommend :)

The best volume of RWBY!
TheGreatGreenBadger23 October 2022
This is by far the best volume of RWBY! It surpasses volumes 3 and 5, absolutely a thrilling experience. So much development for our favorite characters while also single handling getting me to love all the new ones. It was a great way to wrap all the characters from the previous volumes and getting them ready for the next trials to come. This is also the volume where I have more favorite characters than just Weiss. There's Neopolitan, Ironwood, and Penny, such fantastic characters with beautiful but also tragic stories. I'm so glad they are carrying on Monty Oum's story and legacy! Can't wait for the future volumes!!

An Excellent Volume for the series
mweist28 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This Volume has done a great job at showing the economical disparity between the elite and working classes within the Kingdom of Atlas, as well as the result of unchecked power in the hands of a man ultimately consumed by paranoia and fear in a desperate attempt to be in complete control as well as the result of Blind loyalty of his followers leaving both sides divided, the finale will leave you completely in shock and awe for our heroes as the Main Villain of the series arrives at the Kingdom, and will leave you dreading the inevitable conflict, and I hope you give this volume positive reviews and ratings.

Stunning volume.
shalina-6134929 April 2023
RWBY Volume 7 is an absolute triumph in the world of animation. The characters we know and love are taken to new heights as they face their greatest challenge yet. The storytelling is top-notch, with a well-crafted plot and character development that keeps the viewer invested from start to finish.

The animation is breathtaking, with stunning fight scenes and intricate details that bring the world of RWBY to life like never before. The voice acting is superb, with each actor bringing their character to life in a way that feels authentic and true to the source material.

But what really sets RWBY Volume 7 apart is the depth of the themes explored. From political corruption to the dangers of technology, the show tackles complex issues with nuance and sensitivity, making it a must-watch for anyone who loves thought-provoking storytelling.

Overall, RWBY Volume 7 is a masterclass in animated storytelling, showcasing the very best that the medium has to offer. With its complex themes, stunning animation, and deeply moving narrative, this is a series that deserves a place among the greats of modern animation.

Absolutely Amazing!
emeryx-8869128 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
By far one of my top 3 seasons of this show, Volume 7 deals with the girls finally becoming proper huntresses in Atlas! As they do their best to get Amity up and running, you can see Ironwood falling apart as forces beyond his control try to tear Atlas apart from the inside out. Jacques finally gets what he deserves (arrested), and the end of the volume was devastating (Clover deserved better). I thoroughly enjoyed this Volume, and every aspect of it was incredible. Especially when Team RWBY has to fight the Ace Ops. The choreography almost reminded me of the Monty Era of the show, it was so good. And War is an incredible song.

Would definitely watch again and again.
