I found this episode pretty boring

For a penultimate episode. Seriously what happened? Nxyly showing a heart and Supergirl realizing she was about to make a huge mistake in her desperation to stop Lex and Nxyly. But other than that not much happened. I would give the sun scene an 8 in intensity tho.

I have watched this series from the beginning. There have been some bad episodes but this one (and a number of other episodes from this season) takes the cake. I thought it was bad when Kelly, in a previous episode, told a child to call 911 after an entire building blew up. Like "Hey, this building blew up, maybe we should call the cops?" Well this episode is worse. All Alex does is literally (and I mean literally) scream about getting her daughter back. Keep in mind she will drive the point home by screaming "my daughter" in every sentence. Ok, here's the insane part. In order to SAVE HUMANITY Supergirl goes to retrieve a totem. Alex shows up and grabs it out of her hand and says she doesn't care how much destruction there will be, she just wants her daughter. Her daughter is more important than the human race...oh, and Supergirl (who whines to the others that Alex is wrong) doesn't stop her. Pretty much "I know we need the totem to save the world but I don't want to upset my sister..." this is absolutely the worst episode of the entire series.

Boring

I don't even know what to say about this episode. It was an hour long borefest. This episode was one of the worst of the season and it was the first hour of the SERIES FINALE.

It was a complete disrespect toward the cast and the fans.

Alex was very OOC, Kara was a puppet for the plot, Lena didn't have any dialogue. The hope speech was recycled from S5 finale and it was cringe.

And to add to that the writers had the gal to rally against the fans a couple of days back when they were rightfully critized by the awful writing of the last couple of episodes. And then, they deliver this trash???

I'm severely disappointed.

I watch this because I don't quit half way through a series Figured I'd watch it all the way through but this turned out to be the most boring finale of any show I've ever watched.

Literally boring and useless. This was meant to be the entire showdown of the SEASON and what happened? Nothing relevant. The best part was watching Nyxly be nice to Esme but her growth is meaningless given how she ends up.

Alex made me so furious in this episode with her behavior that I was thinking about stopping watching this last 1.5 episode of the show.. It was so stupid that I actually came here to write a review about!

Better Than The Finale...But Not Good At All

Sure this episode is "better than the finale" but that isn't really saying much considering I rated it a 2/10. I really tried to enjoy this episode, I really tried, but I just couldn't. Kara making dumb decisions when she was 1 second away from being super chargers was awful, and not to mention the fact that she was disrespected so much this season! Lillian somehow managing to survive the shot from Nyxly before having her long conversation and dying. Camera Angles giving you headaches. Lex and Nyxlys "fight" somehow turned them into lizards?? If I'm rating episodes this low compared to my previous reviews than that's how you know it's bad. A 4 star is generous because some of the CGI (Mainly Kara's flying) was improved and Alex's and Kelly's distraught over Esme. However, that's where the good stops. Kara's so dumb as when Esme separated the all stone, she could've super sped and received all 3 stones but *NOOO* the writers have no common sense, and instead made her run at normal speed so that Lex & Nyxly could also get parts of it... smh....

So, Kara is surprised Alex steals the totem from her hand? LOL! Oh-puhlease. Someone who can catch bullits in mid air is surprised by a slow normal human?

THEN, Kara won't stop Alex from using all the totems despite being a world risky move? And all the workarounds are so dangerous it risks life on Earth? For ONE child?

Get out of here. Ridiculous, horrible, lazy writing.

Garbage. What a waste of money buying this Bluray. I'm never buying another CW Bluray ever again. I don't trust them to not ruin a once great show.

This last season is painful. If I didn't waste my money buying the Bluray I would just turn off the show and be done. But, this is just pure nonsense.

Also, this whole season has been a slap in the face to Kara. I mean, you can pretty much delete the character this season and not much would change.

Also, the endless crying and victim mentality coming from everyone... every episode it's the same nonsense... Oh poor me, boo hoo, cry cry, some soft talking, some consolation... more crying, more "It's all my fault" "No, it's my fault" "No no.. it's my fault"... WHAT the.... this is worse than a soap opera.

Also, the immediate solutions are so forced. "All of a sudden there is a satellite that can supercharge Kara and make her invincible"... ugh.. cheap lazy boring laughable writing...

I think after this, I'm going to watch Smallville and Lois and Clark from a decade or so ago. At least then I know that there is more super hero FUN... mixed with some drama and good love stories and good action...

This is just pure garbage. I can't stand watching this anymore. Thank goodness this is the 2nd last episode.

How sad... this show was AWESOME in the first 2 seasons... season 3 was quite enjoyable. 4 and later went downhill but had redeeming qualities..

I really like Lex and Nyxly - Nyxly is great... thank goodness for her strong acting and great on screen personality.

The endless whining coming from the main cast is boring... boo hoo... cry cry...

Nyxly is a breath of fresh air... love her.

Super friends need some acting lessons.

Always surprised this show made it so long. Acting was atrocious, story fell apart. Good riddance to bad television. Alex's arc has been genuinely horrible, Jesus would not be able to save it.

And this is the final? No good battle, too much attention to the sister's wedding, Kara's shady fate. Why would bring old characters ftom the future, like Winn and Mon-El?

Those episodes more like fillers than the final.

And Supergirl, who did not want to be alone anymore, remained single just because her person happened to be a woman, not a man...

worst written script

Horrible, the protagonist who is supposed to be Kara happened to be a secondary character. Supergirl needed to have more prominence IN HER OWN SERIES. And considering that it is the end... terrible script. Kara deserved more!

This was painful to watch. I only made it this far because I had already watch so much of it and wanted to finish. Poor writing, contrived plot points, forced narratives. I'm so glad it's over.
