Saving Grace is that Chyler Directed the episode

Warning: Spoilers
Again I do not think episodes that are lacking in the presence of SuperGirl are ever worth a ten rating. I also do not think that Nia and Brainy hold down a show. The saving grace of this show like the previous one are the two young actresses playing Alex and Kara. I also think Chyler did a nice job directing the show. The two comedy actors and the one playing a young Cat Grant were just as bad as in the previous episode. I am hoping that in the Fall with the new episodes that there will be a presence of SuperGirl in her own show that will bring more excitement to the episode being shown. Can't help it but Melissa makes the show.

Chyler Leigh makes her directorial debut!
Although i thought last episode was done better, this one had an ambience like no other. Much comes from the cast and the overall tone throughout the episode.
The pacing was one of the foremost qualities, which combines well within each individual characters own correspond. Excellent execution for how well everything tied in for both of the episodes, but moreover for the show itself. Everything came naturally, it never felt forced.
It's hard to say anything negative on this episode, because it was nothing that was assuredly poor or lacklustering. But with that it additionally doesn't make anything brilliance or spectacular. It's just very safe and it's nothing wrong with that. However i thought the editing was a bit odd in the beginning, maybe it got better while it proceeded or i neglected. Nonetheless that is what good editing is, you doesn't noticing it if you doesn't attentivening. Some of the costume design choices was peculiar. My view was that the outfits didn't go that well along within the production design and overall lightness. That being my biggest issue for this episode.
It essentially gets a 10 for me and lands on a 9,5/10. Chyler Leigh should be very proud!

It was a heartfelt episode that really determined Kara's future, as well as her relationship with her sister. The cast for younger Kara, Alex, and Cat were spectacular! I could not have imagined there would be people in the world who resembled the older actors that well. Lots of brania so that was extremely cute!
Another fun episode. Good conclusion to the Midvale saga

But made me hope that the rumors of the spinoff may be true and we'll get more of the midvale teens. Brainy and Nia are adorable, love them together. Chyler did a great job directing. It'd be cool to see her do it more before the show ends.
Supergirl is fun again

Warning: Spoilers
I'm catching up on the final 1.5 seasons of Supergirl. I actually got Arrowversed out. Season 6 has been really good, like the show found its groove again. After not seeing them in a while, young Kara and young Alex were a pleasure. The PTB really nailed their casting. Apologies for not remembering the actresses names. Nia looked adorable and it's nice she and Brainy are back together. Chylers directorial debut was amazing, she brings a nice family close tone. And though I'm a child of the 80s, this episode's soundtrack was spot on. I found myself enjoying music I'd not heard in more than 10 years.
