Its Badness is Rather Charming
Three for One (1971)
** (out of 4)
Calling this a "movie" might make some gag but the "plot" has three different scenes all based around a threesome. In the first one Keith Erickson takes on a couple ladies. In the middle story Ric Lutze messes around with Rene Bond as well as her character's sister played by Sunny Boyd. The third story features a shower scene.
I'm not sure who directed or made THREE FOR ONE but there's no question that it was poorly done. I say that but at the same time it's so bad at times that you can't help but laugh and have some fun with it but more on that in a second. I'm not sure if these three segments were shot for different movies and then edited together for this but the movie comes to a very abrupt end so who knows what was going on.
As I said, the film is very poorly made but what makes it so funny is that you can hear the director during the first two sequences talking to the actors. In fact, in both segments the actors talk to each other, look at the director and then ask questions about what they are doing. Obviously the director's voice was probably meant to be covered by the music score but for some reason it wasn't. Seeing the actors act and react to his direction was quite funny in its own right.
As far as the film goes, it was obviously cheaply made but fans of Bond will enjoy her scenes here. As for the rest, there's nothing overly special outside of the goofs but those make the film worth watching.
