Stephen Fry in America

Edit

Factual errors

"Luckily, the fourth amendment guarantees free speech." The first amendment guarantees free speech; the fourth amendment guards against unreasonable searches and seizures.

Errors in geography

Fry describes Gettysburg as "80 miles west of the capital," presumably referring to Washington, DC, in which he is standing at the time. Gettysburg is roughly 80 miles from DC, but it is almost due north, not west.
Stephen Fry calls Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the Deep South. It would have been part of the Tidewater South.

Character error

Stephen Fry states that freedom of speech is protected by the fourth amendment, when it is in fact the first amendment that protects this right.
