The creator of the short, Zachary Ngo, raised $1135 dollars for numerous charities and causes by making memes during his charity event: Bingo's Quaramemes.
This short was initially only intended to spread awareness for the creator, Zachary Ngo's charity event: Bingo's Quaramemes, but turned into a passion project between Zachary Ngo and Zach Levy.
Originally, the short was intended to be under 10 minutes, but Zachary Ngo wanted to incorporate more people other than himself.
It was Zach Levy's idea to add textual commentary throughout the skit from Zacary Ngo and himself so that their presence would be felt throughout the short film.
Although many people dropped out of filming at the last minute, both Zachs were happy that the short was more condensed as more screen time could then be given to the already sizable cast.
