Continuity

When Edwards goes to speak to Phil after he was arrested, she states that the incident between Phil and Sandra's father happened 20 years ago. Later, during the scene at the airport, Phil states to Jenny that the incident was 12 years ago.
Two external shots of the ambulance are exactly the same, even though by the time we see it the second time, it should be passing by a completely different building instead of the same one.
The Silly String shot on the door of Phil's office changes positions throughout the scene.
When Detective Edwards is shown inside of the Gulfstream from the back of the cabin looking forward, there is a large Exit sign on the forward bulkhead of the aircraft, just to the left of the cockpit entryway. Previously when the view showed her walking up the entry stairs, there was no sign there.
When detective Edwards goes up the steps of the Gulfstream, you can see into in through to the cockpit and out of the First Officer's window. When the shot cuts to the inside view, the cockpit curtains are closed and you can't see into the cockpit anymore.

Factual errors

Special Agent Campbell suspends Detective Connie Edwards but Campbell is an FBI agent and would have no authority to suspend a Los Angeles detective.
When Edwards approaches the running jet engine to rescue Philips, she would have been sucked in as well. A running jet engine creates a vacuum "Ingestion Zone" that extends several feet to each side and in front.
Lieutenant Banning says that Lancaster is out of his jurisdiction, but every uniformed officer in the movie is a sheriff's deputy. Lancaster and Santa Monica are both part of Los Angeles County, so if they're with the LA County sheriff's office, it would be in his jurisdiction. If not, they're wearing the wrong uniforms.

Miscellaneous

The character that Edwards refers to as Karen (the red-headed cop played by Colleen Smith whose "carpet doesn't match her drapes") is listed as Carol in the end credits.

Plot holes

As shown whenever a character is murdered, puppets do not have internal organs, only stuffing (Phil further supports this when he states he doesn't have a skeleton). As such, there would be no way for Edwards to receive a puppet liver.
