Anyone wanting an instant resolution from the first episode be sorely disappointed. The second part continues in the same vein, a meandering mystery, with long drawn out scenes, and plenty of character development.
It's a deep mystery, which asks three questions, just who is Mr Oliver, where is he? What's making Anne Dorland so sad?
Anna Cropper is really good as the sullen Anne Dorland, she's incredibly melancholic and deep, it's a quality performance. I love Brian Murphy's less then aristocratic Private Detective, he's great.
