Early in the show, Jack jokes that he has added a doctor to his writing staff, so if the audience hears something they don't understand, they should write it down and take it to a pharmacy. Later, Joyce Davidson comes on as the spokesperson for Jack's new sponsor, and just before she leaves, she says, "Oh by the way - Omnia Gallia in Tres Partes Divisa Est". Any second-year Latin student of the time would recognise this as the opening line of Commentarii de Bello Gallico (Commentaries on the Gallic War) by Julius Caesar. The better students also would recognise that the word order is not Caesar's and, in fact, the Latin is incorrect. She should have said, "Gallia Est Omnis Divisa in Partes Tres."
