Truly absolutely bad.
WHAT A NONSENSE AND HORRIBLE MALAYSIA HORROR MOVIE!
Thrilling
Very thrilling movie with plenty of jumpscares and creepy vibes that will keep you at the edge of your seat! The fact that it is based on a real life theme park adds to the horror
One of the best breakthrough local movie in Malaysia of 2020
The movie presents a fast-pace horror pack experience for the audience and it requires full attention as you go along side Ariel and his crew on an spooky and thrill adventure in Miimaland as they went through scary challenge to show you the mighty of Miimaland. Btw, in the end of the movie will leave you walking out of the theatre thinking about the storyline!!!
Excellent if you have the right expectations.
I thoroughly enjoyed the urban tale, so as well I was expecting a good continuation of the original story line.
I think Nevin Hiong was success to deliver a modem horror story which have a perfect combination with urban tale.
The way the movie was filmed and edited really exemplified a typical horror movie, with a lot of dramatic slow panoramic shots, and the music is eerie and impactful.
There were a few jump scares and a few shots disgusted me but nothing really shook me to my core, which is fine. Overall as an avid fan of horror movies I enjoyed this movie a lot and might even say it's one of the best horror movies of the year In Malaysia.
If you're a fan of the genre such as Fantasy, SF, and Horror, you'll love this film.

Plenty of jump scares!
I'm the type who doesn't really go for horror movies, especially in cinemas due to a traumatic experience in 2001 (from watching The Ring). However, I made an exception for this movie as I felt brave enough to see it with my husband. I was glad I went, because despite the scary moments where I had to close my eyes, the storyline was interesting and it felt like it can really happen. I believe there is an alternate dimension where spirits are trapped, and maybe suffering. And they are there because of us. This movie is deeper than I expected, and I definitely recommend this to my friends!

Impressive story line!!
First of all, I am very happy that this movie is screening in Singapore. We watched it at Cathay Jem.
I am impressed with the story line of this movie and the thrilling factor!!
MIMALAND is a real place as it still exist though was an abandoned theme park. Using MIMALAND as the key story line and place to film to me is a very strong attraction to want to watch this movie.

Love the twist of the story at the end!!
I often wonder why Elize was the one chosen to save "her daughter" as I was watching the show. And the ending explained it all.
Good cinematography angles too in this movie. Great art-sense.

Mysterious mossy forest that hides the unrevealed truth until they step into it...
The movie takes place in an abandoned themed park in one of the deep and thick mossy mountainous forests in Malaysia.
The suspense and plots are well deployed in the humid and mossy background setting. The crews experience the most unwanted and unexpected events awaiting them in the forest. The acting is above the expectations. The story is dark and original. The story is complex but easy to follow. Some lines like the Mantra chanted by Elize still repeats in my mind which makes me remember for some while. The cinematography is astounding. I would recommend based on my experience.
Good Storyline
Been looking forward to this movie because MIMALAND was my childhood "Disneyland" before it closed down.
I like the storyline alot and also the performance of female lead actress Sophia Albarakbah in the movie.
