Kevin Miller, the drummer from Fuel, joined the cast for the show's premiere filmed at Country Junction in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. Miller invited his interior decorator from Toronto to help him shop for new furniture and knick-knacks while the show's production crew followed them.
In 2003, The Stage TV released an album titled Stripped. The CD contained live performances from several bands that appeared on the show including The Badlees, Spitshine, Eighteenth Hour, Pokerface, and Poppycock Babble. The disc was sponsored by Dave Phillips Music and Sound and recorded at Westwires Recording USA. CD proceeds were donated to local charities.
The CVC Report called The Stage, "one of the best produced regional shows."
Chris Line, the show's host, was a VJ on MTV2 and appeared in the film School of Rock as the DJ that announces the winner of the Battle of the Bands contest.
The show aired for ten years on Service Electric and Blue Ridge Cable TV hitting 1.5 million homes weekly.
