Jaeden Martell in Mr. Harrigan's Phone (2022)

Goofs

Mr. Harrigan's Phone

Edit

Continuity

A poster of a bear that is on Craig's bedroom wall is gone when he wakes up in the morning.
When Deane Whitmore is driving his SUV before the accident that kills Mrs. Hart, you can notice that he is not wearing his seat belt, and the next scene he is wearing it and then he is not.
When Craig is outside the phone store the blue rubbish bag is dropped on his right side, then it is briefly shown own up against the fence and then it is back down on his right hand side.
When Mrs. Hart tells Craig that she'll write him a note for holding him back from going to his next class, in no other scene in that classroom you see her writing a note to give one to Craig. But she says later that he is not late, eventually. So she doesn't have to write a note.
When Craig tells Ms. Hart, "you smell good", she has cleaned up his bloody lip, but when she tells him, "you can get it [Booth Bay Soap] for anyone", his lip is still bloody.

Anachronisms

iPhone 4 was introduced June 2010 Harrigans tombstone reads his death as 2008.

Errors in geography

When he leaves the phone store and passes a barber shop, the telephone number for the barber shop on its window is 203, the area code for Southern Connecticut, many hours and miles away from Maine.

Plot holes

When Craig calls Mr. Harrigan to say he wants the drunk driver dead, he calls him from his old phone that he had shut off to upgrade to a new one. The old phone should not have been able to dial out to anyone since it had no service.
Craig's voiceover says "I introduced him to the Internet, to Yahoo!, and Google." It seems out of place because in a 2022 film, who uses Yahoo for what nowadays. But Craig started reading for him in 2003 and had been reading for some 5 years, so the time line of that statement comes to around 2008. Well, Yahoo was indeed thriving in those days. Hope Craig had made an Orkut account for Mr. Harrigan.
