saved by the legs... next week I'll blast ol' Ryan Murphy again with a full broadside, promise!

I have a love/hate relationship with some TV shows, I suppose, but with NIP/TUCK it is for the most part just a whole big bunch of loathing. So much so that I shouldn't even be associating with it here. There are characters in it that just become more and more loathsome (as in gratingly irritating) as the episodes grind by. Matt, for instance. Even the die-hard fans of the show would understand why I cannot stand that gormless, brain-dead moronic idiot. If you haven't seen everything that has been on the screen up till now, don't judge me by my harsh words. Matt is enough to make anybody sane wanna switch off the TV set. And Dr. Christian Troy, this Lothario to end all Lotharios, this king of the heart-breakers, played by that guy who was such an overrated bore on CHARMED?

But to get back to this episode in particular, for somebody who has an eye for the ladies (and The Raven is here for no other reason), there has always been, well quite regularly anyway, something to get excited about. And here it was the character Alexis Stone. I strongly suspect that a body double was used for the legs-only scenes. Now okay, The Raven has learned that he gets very unpopular with the other members when raving about the particular attributes of an on-screen darling, but allow me to point out that the pair of legs and the arched feet in those designer high heels, world-class A+ 100% thank you very much. Just had to say that. :) happy now

Without those legs in this episode, this effort wouldn't have rated more than a 2.

I've also come to the stark realization that, no, it seems Kelsey Lynn Batelaan isn't going to provide much-needed real good fun. Annie is clearly not being put to use. Obviously there must be reasons for that (said ominously)... I've noticed (July 2017) that Kelsey's career since is going nowhere in a hurry, okay, still growing up BUT way grown by now, and 'Kelsey's gone fishing' is a bit lackadaisical, okay? Wake up and claim your space in Hollywood, young lady!
