One of the best episodes of TV I've seen

I loved this episode, and this show. The journey and experiences of the characters in this episode really resonated with me, and I think a lot of other queer people - no matter what age you are. The party at Uncle Bert's house was especially beautiful. Could not rave about this episode and show enough.

Emotional

Love is needed. Justice is needed. Stories must be said. CHANGE is needed.

This series it's giving a voice. One of the many we need to make an impact. It may seem like a stretch to some people but Representation in media like the one this show has to offer it's very important.

As a Mexican gay woman this is the kind of content I long to watch because it keeps me having hope on CHANGE.

More seasons, please.

Heartbreaking but I loved it

Warning: Spoilers
It was one of the most heartbreaking episodes of TVs show I've seen since the death of Charlie on LOST. The amount of happy moments we get to see before the total disaster made me feel so good and then BAM! But this wasn't a plotwist per say, we knew when this events take place, we just got to experience what these women also had, this little safe haven now and then and then the confrontation with the reality.

i'm still crying

This episode has touched me unlike any other show has done before, the amount of tears i've shed throughout the entire episode is unmatched!

The way it's told, all the facets that are shown - i've rarely seen any movie or tv production treating LGBTQ+ experiences that well and sensitively! As a queer woman of color the arc of Max and Bertie really resonated with me. Made me grateful for how far we've come since that time, but also showed me that there's still a long way to go. When I started watching the show, I was a bit anxious about whether we'd get a superficial treatment of lesbian experiences, but this episode has proven that the people writing this really put great effort into giving an account of LGBTQ reality in that time that is no short of careful and well thought out consideration!
