A vapid aspiring model killed in a car crash gets brought back to life as an intelligent, overweight lawyer, hoping to find the meaning of inner beauty.

Deb is a shallow model whose sudden demise results in her being reincarnated as Jane, a plus-size lawyer with astonishing intelligence. As Deb sees life through Jane's eyes, she realizes that it doesn't matter how big you are, but how you accept it and know you're beautiful no matter what people say.

Aspiring model Deb Dobkins and overworked lawyer Jane Bingum have nothing in common until the day fate brought them together: Deb's soul transferred into a new home in Jane's body. Now Deb develops a new brain and gets a new wardrobe, a Guardian Angel named Paul, and a best friend, Stacy. She thinks she's there for a reason--well, she hopes she's right.

She isn't ready for her afterlife, so she had to evacuate the area and her spirit went into the form of Miss Jane Bingum, a brilliant, overworked, plus-sized lawyer at Harrison and Parker Industries. She adapts to her new life and gets her best friend back and also a Guardian Angel.
