When Dr. Chang enters the room to get filmed for his orientation video, the camera operator immediately says "Speed," which means the camera is rolling and ready for action. Chang after that really takes his time, and even the clapper board comes quite slow. No director would give a camera operator the command for rolling the camera before the actor and everybody else on set is really ready and set for a take because every foot of negative film running through the camera is rather expensive.
