Oh Crackle. It's really no secret that you're after that coveted young male demo, and the latest two additions to the summer web series roster should score some points in that game: Mommy XXX and All Stars. Mommy XXX, a new reality series goes after one of the only unclaimed plots on the reality landscape, porn stars mommies. The show centers around a typical real-life family who's matriarch, Demi Delia, happens to be a Playboy model turned adult film star. The single mom raises her 14 year-old daughter — a straight-a student — and her aspiring punk rocker son. Next up is All Stars, starring Crackle-regular Owen Benjamin (Owen Benjamin Presents, Heckle U, Gaytown) as the ringleader of the Nifty Rubber Band company's failing office softball league. The series is written by Benjamin along with fellow Owen Benjamin Presents writer Jesse Shapiro who also stars in the show. Their usual gang of comedians star as well,...

Apparently, it's engagement day in celebrity-land. Us Magazine reports that Speed Racer star Christina Ricci has become engaged to her beau, Owen Benjamin. Ricci, 29, and Benjamin began dating in November. The two will appear in an upcoming movie, All's Faire in Love, this year. Benjamin, who currently stars in the the C-spot television series Gaytown, made his big-screen debut as Marvin in last year's comedy The House Bunny. He's also currently working on his own comedy special for Comedy Central, which will run in late 2009.

Word out from CBS Interactive today that they are launching a new 10-episode web series set to debut in February, just in time for the ramp up to the network's coverage of the 2009 Ncaa Men's Basketball Tournament. Heckle-u will star web series vet Owen Benjamin (Gaytown, Owen Benjamin Presents) as an underachiever who has found his calling heckling at men's college hoops games. He is egged on by his bartending uncle played by Tom Arnold, who by the way has been making the rounds in web series lately—see Overkill and Easy to Assemble. Procter & Gamble products will be integrated into the series as part of the deal and will be rolled out through the CBS Audience Network. That means CBS.com and its distrubtion partners including AOL, Fancast, MSN, Veoh, Yahoo!, YouTube and others. According to Nielsen NetView, (April 2008) their network reaches 92% of Us online users.
