Most of the cast and crew were waiters and bartenders, so the 19 day shoot was spread out over 7 weeks. Shooting was on Mondays through Wednesdays, and the cast/crew would work their jobs Thursday through Sunday.
The film was shot guerilla style - on one occasion, the local police held the cast and crew at gunpoint, responding to passersby's 9-11 calls that described bloody bodies lying on the road and people with guns.
Cast and crew stayed in a run down two bedroom apartment - all 30 or so. People slept in the hall, in the kitchen, wherever they could find a place to lie their sleeping bag.
