This movie i have to say was pretty horrible.. I laughed maybe a couple times throughout the whole film. I have been a fan of their YouTube videos for 2 years or so and I love their content on YouTube.. My opinion on what they should have done: Let Ryan and Sean Direct the movie themselves. I believe it's the directors and producers that ruined it. Ryan and Sean are great, they have potential, and I think they could make it big if they did most of it themselves and maybe got some talented help for film making or really just anyone other than the people behind this movie. But if your a fan of the YouTube Stars, and you are super curious, go ahead and take a peek.

I really like Nigahiga's shows on you-tube...but this was a piece of ****... I could do this with my mobile camera..this was total crap...I really had to stop 30 min in the movie cause I couldn't watch anymore... I only find the song in a car thing a bit funny because Ryan really does a good lip sync and his face is girlie... A BIT FUNNY! The scene where they are passing China, desert and other things...what was that..it's a movie, they could do it in real life...the green screen at the airport was awful... Ryan has a great sense of humor...but this...I really have to bash this movie..I was hoping it to be at least a little good... The acting ? Ryan kinda does an average job...but that's it.. The little guy seems to do well...for this movie.. Sean...you can see Sean that he is memorizing all lines cause of his movements...it's even more horrible than seeing little kids act...which is cute.. That guy who wanted Sean and Ryan...first scene in the movie..he's snoring...it's an AWFUL act... These guys can do better...seriously... And no sequels should be made...this should never have come out anyway.

i've never heard of these guys before, not seen them on you tube or anywhere, but after reading the previous user's review about how this would have me in stitches i thought i'd give it a go. i don't know what film that guy has watched, because it was the worst film i've ever seen, cheaply made, poorly acted, not funny at all, seriously, there wasn't 1 point in the film where anything was funny. It was just bad, very bad, i almost turned it off but realised i only had 20 minutes left of it so gave it a chance (thinking it might get better, it didn't). How anyone thought about making a film about these guys i'll never know, they're not funny and poor actors, everything about the film is just awful. I honestly wouldn't waste your time watching it.

Totally unfunny

This is my first review, and it will be a short one: it's not a comedy. It's a drama. The plot is dumb, the jokes nonexistent, i haven't laughed once, heck, i wasn't even smiling for a second. The only person whose acting was decent was Shorty, but he also didn't deliver any funny stuff. I really tried to give this movie a chance, I even watched the whole thing, which was hard enough. IT'S HORRIBLE! Please, please avoid this. It's relatively short, but still not worth the hour of your life. Once again: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! And one final word to the movie makers: I personally beg you for no sequels. Don't waste any more resources.

Just to make it clear, I LOVE Nigahiga. They are probably the funniest comedy duo ever. They are like Abott & Custello mixed with Bill & Ted. Also, They were one of the first YouTube channels I ever saw! Quite an introduction, I must say. When I found out that they were gonna be in a movie, It blew my mind. I tried all day to submit it to be shown in my local theater. Which failed, so I got it on DVD, and got an autographed card since I was one of the first few thousand to buy it! So as you can tell, I was hyped. When I watched the movie, what do I get? A bunch of bad jokes, bad dialog, an unoriginal idea, bad camera-work, and little-no plot. Allow me to summarize the movie. Ryan and Sean get seen by a movie-producer guy played by Micheal Buckley. Right from the start it rips off Waynes World. So they get Ryan and Sean on the phone (SOMEHOW, how exactly did they get their number?) Then Sean is waiting outside for Ryan, and Ryan comes in on a motorcycle and continues to shout "SEAN!" in Seans face, which is supposed to be funny but it isn't... Then Sean hitchhikes by showing his leg while porno music plays. Yeah. I don't know. Then some serial killer gives them a ride, and they steal his car. They fly in on a plane, literally ON a plane. Which I admit is kinda funny. Then they meet a midget, so of course they have to make every single "Short person" Pun possible... You wanna know whats short? The funny meter. You wanna know what else is short? This movies likability. You wanna know what ELSE is short? How much I care... So anyway, it cuts to them doing some perverted dance to music in the car, which goes on for like 3 minutes. yeah 3 FREAKING MINUTES! Then they meet Micheal Buckley, who tells them their schedule and how much they are getting payed and all that, then the rest of the movie is just a bunch of goofy moments. ALL of them are pointless, and judging by the ending, the whole entire movie is pointless! Because at the end, they just decide they don't want to do it, they go home, the end. So overall, the movie sucks, but I can accept that its based of a youtube channel that just happened to be popular. I definitely recommend Nigahiga, but seriously, stay away from this movie. It is god awful.

I watched this movie on the premiere in Hawaii and I must say I am impressed immensely. Okay; it isn't the greatest film of all time, but it's still pretty damn good, especially when you consider that just a few months ago these two kids were making amateur videos for Youtube. I heard a few complaints about how bad the story was and how it wasn't good quality, but you have to take Ryan and Sean's Not So Excellent Adventure for what it is; an entertaining, light hearted debut for two internet stars. Don't compare it to The Shawshank Redemption, because it is of a different species; it's a film you can just sit and watch all the way through giggling sometimes and you can come out the theater smiling.

The plot is okay; a film maker (played by Michael Buckley, who is also a Youtube celebrity) is about to be fired if he doesn't come up with a good project, so he finds these two guys (Ryan and Higa) on the internet. The jokes are pretty much the same as in the Youtube videos, a few jokes may have you in stitches even.

Brilliant screenplay and sexual scenes

I have to admit, this was an amazing film.

With a budget of only a few million, this erotic film is still fantastic. My favorite scene had to have been the 69 sex scene between Ryan and Sean. Not only was it touching, but very hot! I suggest viewers of all ages watch this film for a great sexual romp. The 16 minute car chase felt too long, however, and made the film seem unbalanced. If it could have been shortened to 10 minutes it would be good. I cried when Tim was impaled on the dildo! I really wish the director had kept him alive, his wit and character was a great effect on the main orgy in the middle of the film.
