At different moments both movies feature firearms. These are incorrect. Actually, they are 150 years ahead, given the action is supposed to take place in 1627. The hand-weapons and riffles are revolutionary/Napoleonic era. Under Louis XIII's reign, firearms were much more rudimentary.
