- Thorne tells Ridge he was shot. Clarke gives Margo her check. Lt. Burke asks Brooke some questions. Brooke and Stephanie have a typically hostile exchange.
- Lt. Burke is just about to leave the Forrester estate as Brooke arrives home. The lieutenant asks her questions about Ridge's relationship with his brother and Caroline. Margo has a meeting with Storm because Clarke failed to pay her the money so far. Just then, Clarke shows up and hands Margo a check - for $50,000 instead of the promised $100,000. Storm tears it up and Margo is furious about Clarke's tactics. Margo issues Clarke a last warning who then complies under the condition that Kristen will never know that he fathered her baby. Stephanie is worried that Brooke talked to Lt. Burke and warns her to refrain from doing so in the future. At Cedars Hospital, Thorne pays his brother a visit explaining that he is very lucky to survive. Thorne helps Ridge to recreate the night of the shooting, but one burning question remains for them both: who shot Ridge?—Torsten B. Tomaschek
- Clarke gives Margo a check for $100,000, but not before trying to write out a check for less. Storm, as her lawyer, helps her to resist Clarke's con job... Lt. Burke is about to leave the Forrester estate when Brooke drives up. He asks her a few questions -- about Caroline's relationship as Ridge's former fiancée and current sister-in-law; and about Ridge's relationship with his younger brother, Thorne. Later, Stephanie asks Brooke about the lieutenant's questions. As usual, the exchange between them is hostile -- exacerbated by Stephanie's secret fears of what Lt. Burke may find out. Brooke fails to understand Stephanie's concern. It doesn't even cross her mind that Thorne could be responsible for Ridge's shooting... Ridge wakes up in the hospital to see Thorne. His younger brother tells him he's been shot. Ridge asks who did it.—J. Spurlin
