At last, this film breathes new life into the zombie genre.
planktonrules1 July 2009
A zombie walks into a 7-11 late at night. He begins walking about--drinking a drink, eating a donut, looking at a girlie magazine--but not eating brains or acting very scary. Oddly, he even begins dancing, looking at sun glasses and buys some cigarettes (I guess he doesn't need to worry about cancer, huh?). The store is empty except for this dead guy and the scared clerk. Then, out of the blue, in comes an armed robber--who immediately recognizes the dead guy as his friend. In a rather surreal twist, they begin conversing (of sorts) and talk about old times. Their reunion, however, doesn't go very well--why, you'll soon find out if you see this strange little film.

One thing you certainly have to say about the film is that it is original--something sorely needed in the zombie film genre. I mean, how many ways can you tell a story about a brain-eater until it gets boring. This film certainly isn't boring. Good job and quite clever.

More Of A Comedy Sketch
jabrbi11 July 2014
At only 7 minutes long this 'film' doesn't really qualify as a film, it's more of an extended comedy sketch. Not a laugh out loud comedy, but an entertaining and witty look at zombie stereotypes.

The scene is a small store, late at night, and involves four actors; the store clerk, the zombie, his ex-lover, and his ex-friend. There's very little dialogue and the zombie has more brains than you'd usually expect in a zombie, and these two together make for an enjoyable watch.

Here's the start of the joke: A zombie walks into a store late at night, ...

From then on, the story doesn't go anywhere you expect it to.

This is a film/sketch that you'll want to talk to friends about. And you'll remember the story for a long time to come.
