African leaders have kept its people perpetually impoverished to the point that coming back home to AFRICA is not so attractive to the diaspora because we have SOLD ourselves short in every way possible.

As Africans in the diaspora, we have not been able to tell our own story, and most times the western world fails to see the difference between an African in Africa and another African in Diaspora.
Strange Troubles tend to highlight what drives and motivates an average African in American.
