Adventure Castle is a children's educational series aimed at the 6-12 age demographic, set in a steam-punk world, embracing elements of science fiction, comedy, and adventure. In Adventure Castle, the school is full of everyday problems to solve, and the cast of students and teachers work together to solve them. "Quarantine: Trapped In the Lab" focuses on Ashley Vaughan, a student attending Adventure Castle. On her way into a normal day of lab research, the castle experiences an unknown contaminate and enters into an emergency shutdown. Ashley finds herself quarantined in the lab until the shutdown is lifted, alongside her friend Audie the Talocyte, a school maintenance robot. Through the ordeal, she learns to endure the rigors of quarantine by playing games, resting, sending messages to her friends, and processing her emotions about the experience.
