1941 a 1000 Jewish refugees are stuck on the frozen Danube,The ship "Darien" should come to take them to Palestine, but the Zionist leaders had sold the Darien to the British Intelligence SOE unit, to be used for sabotage behind the Nazi lines. In Istanbul 6 Mossad Agents meet in Ruth's room to vote on the issue of handing over the Darien or to disobey orders. The Dilemma was the Darien could either fight the Nazis or save Jews. they disobeyed did not handover the ship, yet it was to late the Danube froze and the 1000 refugees were caught in the Nazi invasion of Yugoslavia, other refugees from Rumania & Bulgaria came to Haifa on the last ship before the doors closed shut totally.
