Chainsaw and Skinny search the hills looking for enemies. In another part of the desert, Becerril and Cruz organize their growing zombie army and get ready to attack the rehab center. Inside the military base, Snowman performs an autopsy on Thompson and discovers that zombies can grow new organs, including a second heart, which might make them harder to kill. Valencia and the two rangers are on their way to the border on a secret mission. When Dávila's van breaks down, he and Lilia get the help of Father Humberto, an alcoholic priest who lectures them about right and wrong. Taft and Romeo are stranded in a small airport. Tension rises when Romeo remembers the incident in which Marroquín betrayed him to the DEA and finally realizes that Taft was the agent who arrested him. Near the border between the United States and Mexico, Valencia and her Rangers have a mortal encounter with zombies led by NoBalls, the traitor, who is now a zombie too. Valencia is forced to run when one of her Rangers is infected and attacks her. When the long night is finally over, Taft and Romeo head to the rehab center. Meanwhile, as the sun rises over the desert, Chainsaw and Skinny are attacked by zombies.
