On the secret military base, Snowman's experiments with the zombie soldier fail, and when Thompson frees himself, Valencia is forced to shoot him in order to save the scientist. Murdoch accepts getting more humans for Snowman's experiment and sends Valencia and two other Rangers on a secret mission to hunt illegal immigrants. In the rehab center, Lucas tells his father he saw other "monsters" on the drone's footage, so Marroquín orders Chainsaw to search the hills around the center. In a US airport, Dávila welcomes Lilia. When he discovers that Scar is following them, he ambushes the deadly agent and kills him. Neither of them realizes that Dávila's van is broken and about to leave them stranded in the desert. When the zombie herd led by Becerril finally emerges from the tunnel, they meet the other group led by Cruz.
