When I watched the first episode, it was intriguing. The acting of the main actors were good, there are some instances in the editing that left many dead airs but in the end you'll feel that the two actors have great chemistry!

All I can say, it's worth your time. Enjoy the ride. It's light and very "now" simple story. XavMi chemistry is overflowing. The beauty of love is that, you can fall into it with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.

Better than Gameboys

Considering the hype that surrounds Gameboys, I felt this series was much better than that. Gameboys felt like a cute cringey series, which kind of didn't make sense with some of its content which you'll not feel with this series.
It felt more on the mature side compared to Gameboys and pretty similar in the cinematography.
Could this have been better? Yes.
Was it worth the watch? One time, yes So sure you can watch it for another online mode BL which has a zoom call kind interface.
The acting by the leads was good, as for the side roles, they also did justice to their part.

I love how this series does not involve evil third parties(Krystal was more of Xavier's personal issue) , or sudden deaths, or grandiose familial conflicts that many romances explore for lack of imagination.
The story stayed more on how these two boys came into terms with their true feelings and how to express them, a coming of age in a way.
The story was simple yes, but it was done right. Partnered with a laser focused story telling and honest acting, it was more than enough to deliver the message, and I felt every bit of it.
They made the right decision to stick with the story, and not extend just because its popular.
They can come back later for another storyline, and I will surely look forward to it.

It wasn't until Episode 3 that I got hooked with this series. Aside from it gives people a reason to smile and be smitten during a pandemic, it also has an interesting plot that is realistic and relatable. Their take on the cinematography gave a deeper dimension into the story-telling, making viewers feel that they are really part of each scene. ABS-CBN surely knows how to do it properly.

Super feel good series! Great acting, cinematography and editing! Really cute story. If you just want to step away from the harsh reality of the world for a few minutes and you'd like to feel a little giddy, this is a great recommendation.

Simple yet profound story. It's a feel good series that you can watch repeatedly. The actors were good. The material has indie vibes yet very glossy. The shots were impressive although the shooting process were limited. The used of literature into the story is effective and made the plot deeper. The material was ingenuous and creative. The soundtrack is a mixed of retro and millennial feeling. Most importantly, it punched to the right emotions.

I was hooked on watching all the episodes in one sitting.as I found everything so entertaining. It was not just the acting of the two main characters that was worth watching, all the cast members did an excellent job. It was just recently that i came across and watched videos with similar themes. I was impressed watching Gameboys (the first one I saw), but compared to Hello Stranger, Gameboys looked like a high school production. Sorry Gameboys, I did enjoy your videos too.

In the light of this pandemic, it's so rare to find someone who truly care for us but the narrative changed its perspective from the point of view of the protagonist, a long term plan for his future was shattered when their two worlds collided to each other. It's a heart wrenching and tectonic strike that bounded them together to become one.
An electric shock that intensified the feelings and cravings was satisfied for the viewers. So its your call whether to make or break this BL series.

This series has an amazing cast, sadly, i dont knkw if they can portray their roles well. There was never an episode where the acting of the cast ensemble met. Sometimes Mico is good but Xavier is not, and vice versa. Sometimes, Mico and Xavier are gold but the friends are not.
Junjun is probably the best actor for this series. And he is the fifth wheel hehe.
I am so critical with acting because a great story needs great story tellers (actors). And sometimes these acting is based on the acting direction. So i am also looking forward for Petersen to step up his game

Great coming of age BL story

The storyline is poignant, charming and its core hits right when the discussing topics of coming of age and in terms of love. Superb acting and chemistry from the main leads Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara. Helped me be entertained during quarantine season. Cannot wait for the movie or season 2 (hopefully).

This series is probably the best bl series I have ever seen. The chemistry between Mico and Xavier is so unreal, its just so effortless. Hello Stranger did not have a kiss and I don't think they needed one because the hug, the emotions are already enough to fall in love with the characters. And I keep rewatching this series countless times because its strength is its simplicity and that's what it made it beautiful and unique among the bunch.

I really love how Mico represent the characteristic of well mannered Filipino who is passionate in what he wants to become someday, hardworking and family oriented. I love Xavier who choose to be true to his self and fight and willing to give up everything for the love of his life. Each character they are all impressive hands down despite of limited casting and production due to covid they produce a high quality and entertaining show. This series thought me how to love again and value myself.

Director Petersen Vargas really did it this time. The series made me laugh,cry,love and respected the LGBTPLUS Community more. Love knows no boundaries. So if you want to watch a PINOY BL SERIES I highly recommend HELLO STRANGERA series that is full of love not lust I will tell you once you watch it you can not help but fall in love with the characters especially Xavier and Mico

ABS-CBN, the biggest network in the Philippines announced on producing a BL Series with the help of Black Sheep a film agency owned also by the said network. I was happy that time because I an avid fan of BL.
The first episode of Hello Stranger is quite underwhelming maybe because of the musical score which is off an unnecessary but for the following episode the chemistry of the lead actors are on point, I didn't expect that to happen.
Plot - 7/10 Cinematography - 9/10 Actng - 9/10 Musical Score - 10/10 Original Soundtract - 5/10
Hope in the movie they can improve some other aspect
