- A personal drama with comical moments in which a young man has to learn to be true to himself. The early 1990s at a remote lake. Heiko wants to spend a quiet and romantic weekend with his girlfriend Sonja. However she would prefer some action! So Heiko has to take some effort in trying to please her. In the middle of this fragile idyll Elke and Wollo, an elderly couple, arrive with their caravan. Worlds collide. On one side slightly stiff Heiko. On the other side chubby, constantly good-humored Wollo. Heiko gets irritated. Especially because Sonja makes friends with Wollo immediately. And Elke seems to make eyes at Heiko. Daydreams, heat and mosquitos bother him additionally. His whole environment seems to be against him. Heiko tries to win back Sonja and to hold fast to his dream of a romantic weekend. In vain. After a strange encounter with Elke Heiko changes his strategy. He decides from now on to have at least as much fun as Sonja and Wollo. Doing so he becomes cramped and dissembles more and more. Until at an evening barbecue the whole situation gets totally out of hand.—Markus Sehr
