Howard Cottrell is on vacation playing golf. Chasing the ball into the undergrowth, he's bitten by a snake and completely paralyzed, showing no sign of life. At the hospital, unable to communicate, he is the key witness to his own autopsy.
While playing golf with his friend Ed Brooks, Howard Cottrell walks on the bush to retrieve his ball. He is bitten by a viper and an old doctor recklessly diagnoses heart attack. Howard is sent to the autopsy room, where Dr. Katie Arlen is training Dr. Peter Jennings. Howard tries to find a way to call the attention of the doctors while he recalls his relationship with his fiancée Angela. When the assistant Rusty takes the elevator with a hospital employee that is bringing Howard's golf club bag, the man is bitten by the snake. Rusty finds what happened to Howard and rushes to the autopsy room four.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
A businessman on vacation, Howard Cottrell, is bitten by a snake while playing a round of golf. He is taken to the nearby hospital's autopsy room, but the staff is unaware that he is in a deathlike coma but not dead. Now Howard will have to be a silent but fully conscious witness to his own autopsy unless he can somehow manage to communicate with the doctors.
