Not your usual character development and well worth watching.

This film was superbly acted. The plot kept me guessing until the very end. Concerning the modern use of the internet,it's a situation that many of us can identify with. If you enjoy online video chatting, then you will enjoy this movie. I would suggest that anyone that wants to support independent film making should definitely watch this movie. The characters are people that a person can identify with as well. I felt happiness, sadness, rage, paranoia, relief, excitement, intrigue...it spans almost all emotions. The most interesting development of this film is that you just don't have a clue about what is really going on. I hope my review has helped someone to understand that this film is far from ordinary and well worth a watch.

If you like thrillers, Tangled Web is time well spent!

Tangled Web is a worthwhile thriller with not one, but two surprise endings. You'll want to play close attention to this one, because there are subtle hints of what's to come. I couldn't stop watching, and stayed glue to the screen for the entire movie. The cast was new to me, but sold their roles well. Since the movie was shot from the computer's point of view you actually feel like you are eves dropping during the entire film. This gives you an extra reward while giving the uncomfortable feeling of being somewhere you shouldn't be. Anyone who remembers Hitchcock can attest to the same feeling when watching his films. It is that slightly uneasy feeling you get when doing something a little naughty. When it's over you have that "I couldn't help myself feeling" Hey, but isn't that where you want movies to take you?

"Tangled Web" is one of the best movies I ever made! :-)

I admit it. I made the movie. I wrote, directed and edited "Tangled Web". So naturally I'm very proud of it.

I know, I know -- "But you only gave it a 7 out of 10???" Currently its average rating is 7.3. I gave it a 7 so that my rating would not alter the average. It would be unfair for me to give the movie a 10. Those ratings should reflect the opinions of the viewers, not the people who made the movie.

But making 'Tangled Web' was great fun! All of the actors were tremendous, and I couldn't have asked for a better crew. They all deserve to have their work seen and appreciated.

If you haven't seen 'Tangled Web', you should give it a try. It's a great story of two people in love in an impossible and dangerous situation. And I'll bet you won't see the ending coming! :-)
