Ok, I felt the need to write a comment because the only other review is by someone who is clearly dealing with his own problems and didn't say anything helpful.
As a Canadian of mixed race I thought it would be interesting especially because the director is half Japanese. I think the topic is part of an important discussion to be had even if it's not the most pressing social matter.
I didn't get through the whole thing because it's slow and uninteresting. The filming style and text effects have aged really poorly and it probably could have used some narration to tie everything together. I wanted to find a discussion that resonated with me, but it didn't. And if it's a about an issue that effects me directly and I couldn't sit through it, you probably won't be able to either.
