In the ending scene, Jack, Jo, and Allison are talking in front of Cafe Diem as Sheriff Andy is walking toward them. Sheriff Andy is wearing a normal pants belt, not a gun/duty belt. At the end of this encounter as Jack shakes hands with Sheriff Andy, and as Sheriff Andy walking away, he is wearing a gun/duty belt.

Neither Carter nor his car seem to show any effects of the heightened gravity. However, just before Carter starts driving, Henry is shown closing the hood of the vehicle saying he's wired in a tensor generator to create a repulsive field to protect against the gravity fields.
