The remains of a man found sat upright are discovered, Boyd and team have to discover if his death was ritualistic, or something more.
I get why there is a fairly low score for this one, it's not a favourite of mine, but essentially, I still think it's very good.
What we have here is essentially just a good old fashioned whodunnit, but the window dressing is very extreme, there is something dark at play here, possibly voodoo, we also have the complexity of the family life here too, did a rival take advantage of an opportunity?
The acting is terrific, you know something's going to be good when you see Lorcan Cranitch, Ian Pulseton Davies stole this for me.
I enjoyed it, 8/10.
