• Alien Virtual : In line with the lyrics we wanted to reflect in a video the images of power and victory. We used archived footage of boxing matches, football matches and war. This didn't go too well: we were gearing for the first Gulf war: this proved too much for MTV who banned the video, the BBC thought it was an anti-war video and banned it.

  Old-Nick : We had no outlets and the internet was not well received back then. Warner Bros refused to distribute it and both the single and album flopped. This was to be the end of my musical career and I was barely an adult.

• Alien Virtual : The title came after a poem that I wrote. In hindsight this title seems a bit one sided as it could have been more neutral but what is the neutral King word for men and women? The title "Queen of the World" could also mean something else.

  Old-Nick : In the end the record label ditched my poem and asked me to cover a "powerful" song. In line with the title nothing could have been more powerful than covering Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers "King of the World". The producers created and arranged the song, the tremendous guitar made the song.
