Do not waste your time, insult to Sci Fi
christianlennon13 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I fell asleep during the day watching this, jumped out my skin because of knock on a door in the movie, the entire movie is done in 5 minutes at the beginning, the idea is great, what it should have done is show humanity starting to lose their dreams, what chaos erupted during that, then slowly show pharmaceutical companies & cults start popping up, show the actual effects of not dreaming on the human body, show the impact, instead it's a long, long, movie abt just someone who can dream when no one else can going back & forward between his apartment to the 2 who found him with occasional cult thrown in, should have been a short movie done in 35-40 minutes, acting is lacking any energy whatsoever and not because it's about those who can't dream, direction is too too slow & never picks up any pace but director can only do as good as your story & screenplay which is terrible, don't waste your time with it, like so many movies this year is turning out to be the worst year for movies for a very long time, Snyders Justice League has been only good movie this year along with Fatima, it's been terrible and this adds to insult.

So deep, so 'now'.

This journey from new director Quincy Ledbetter is heartfelt and timely. People don't necessarily want to steal your dream... sometimes they wish to exploit it. Stellar acting and drama is paced beautifully. I look forward to more from Mr. Ledbetter. Very promising career ahead!
