A very moving and sensitive film about a traditional family in Amorgos island, in Greece. The film is very interesting and touches problems as well as pleasures of the rural life in Greek islands and the relationships that people develop between them. In Amorgos, specifically in Chora, in a small coffee shop, life goes by in slow rhythms. The spectator is overwhelmed by the beauty of nature and people , cannot escape the thought of how different "city born" people are and how certain important values of human life are lost with the coming of civilization in modern societies. The film manages to communicate the atmosphere of the nature as well as the characters and emotions of the people, without insulting the character's privacy by brilliantly filming characters during their every day chores and life situations, how they connect with the land. Very strong visual language that communicates unspeakable situations of life. I really recommend it to people who love quality films.
