Was not expecting the top notch accent from Lois and this episode had me in tears. Lois was great. I remember seeing them in The Flash and didn't think too much of them then. Now, really glad these cast these two. Just keeps getting good. Top Notch.

This show keeps getting better every episode. The drama, the fights, especially this episode. Im speechless of how the actor of Lois Lane (Bitsie Tulloch) played her role in the show, the actor's potrayal is really really good.
And we finally see Jonathan became the story of the episode. Usually it's Jordan, but now the big star is Jonathan.

I really appreciate the quality of each episode, each episode is a different vibe, love the backstory that was introduced, loved everything about this episode.
The effects were amazingly done and all I can say is this is one of the best If not the best Superhero show on CW. I'm glad they're implementing more elements to each new episode. Great performances in this episode.

Norma Bailey directed this week's episode and her direction is fantastic, cinematography and camera work are also great. "Holding the Wrench" is about character development and characters coming to terms of their problems, normally I wouldn't rate a character driven episode this high but there's much development that is needed for the remaining episodes, from characters outside and inside the Kent Family. The focus on Lana Lang and her family is needed for the bigger picture. The writers did a phenomenal job with the episode and the director they choose was the right person for the job. I have to praise Elizabeth Tulloch for her performance, throughout the whole show, this is hands down her best.
The 8th episode continues where last week's episode left off, John Henry Irons aka Captain Luthor in a jail cell and "Holding the Wrench" is the aftermath of our characters learning the true identity of his. John Henry Irons in the comic book is an important hero that takes the superhero name Steel after the Death of Superman story arc. He's different in Superman and Lois but stays true to the comic book character.
I want to add this, the episode was satisfying and entertaining from start to finish. A lot of questions gets answered, I'm finding this show to getting better and better for each episode and they aren't slowing down.

This show is so good it should have a higher ranking than a 7.9 it should be a 8.1 or 8.2. Anyways this episode was good not as good as the last too but still good. Good fight scenes and good character development for John Henry Irons. He is such great character so far and they nailed his origin. The cgi still holds up to par. My only negative was their were some pointless storylines. But it was a good episode I rate it a 8.5/10.

Like 50% of this episode was great Action Comics/Superfam content, and the rest was dead weight. I'm not going to outright say that it wouldn't be possible to make me care about something small like a Smallville talent show but the writing for it here was literally unoriginal af 😭
