- At the warehouse, Singh is calling David to say that he's with his mother. Eva comes out, puts on her costume, and confirms that Singh is sure that he wasn't followed. He explains that her costumer is necessary to contain her during her acclimations, and it's time to take care of Carver. Singh says that he'll deal with Carver and that success is assured.
At Caitlin's apartment, Nash, Allegra, and Cecile help Frost prepare preparing to go to the Tannhauser facility. Nash says that they'll miss Frost and hastily covers his feelings.
Cecile picks up that Frost is worried about meeting "her' mother, and assures Frost that she can handle Carla. Carla comes in and nervously greets Frost, and Frost nervously returns Carla's greetings. Once Cecile and Allegra leave, Carla suggests that she run a few tests on Frost. Frost looks at her.
Later at Barry's office, Barry meets with Nash, Ralph, and Allegra and explains that he can't lose his CSI job. He figures that if they find Black Hole, they find Eva. Ralph takes out the diamond and says Sue gave it to him, and Black Hole's logo is embedded inside. Allegra detects UV energy off of it, focus a blast through it, and Nash says that it's a treasure map. Barry has her point it at a map, and it reveals a street address. Ralph confirms on the computer that there is a warehouse there with five subterranean levels, and Barry and Ralph go to check it out.
Nash and Allegra go to STAR Labs, and they Flash and Elongated Man on the comms. They find dead guards stabbed to death, and Elongated Man finds all of Carver's blackmail material. Flash smells gasoline, and finds Singh pouring gasoline on the remaining boxes while holding a flare gun. Singh says that he doesn't want to kill anyone else, and the guards left him no choice. Singh says that Carver never tried to save Eva from the mirror, and stole her technology to sell to the highest bidder.
Singh fires the flare gun at the gasoline and walks out. Flash is unable to put out the flames since he can't summon enough speed, but runs Elongated Man out and tells his teammate that they have to protect Carver.
The next day, Carver meets Maurice at Jitters and tells him to replace the destroyed items at the warehouse. When Maurice leaves, Barry sits down and says that Eva wants Carver dead and the CCPD can't protect him. He figures Carver knew Eva was trapped, and Carver says that it's about Iris. He has footage of when Iris was pulled into the mirror while breaking into Eva's office, and warns that Iris is gone like Eva. Carver says that there's probably nothing left of Iris to stay. He had scientists examine the Mirrorverse and confirm that it's incompatible with the human brain, warping the mind until the person is no longer recognizable. Carver tells Barry to accept that, and asks him how Barry knew that Eva was coming after him. Barry says that Eva had Carver's warehouse burned down, and Carver denies that it was his warehouse before leaving.
In the Mirrorverse, Iris and Kamilla figure that they'll have to find Singh on their own. Iris warns that the neural dissonance gets worse every time she interacts with the Multiverse, and everything works backward. She glances at a monitor showing a map of the city and winces in mental pain, then says that she was thinking about finding Singh and saw thermal energy on the map. Iris figures that she's acclimating to the Mirrorverse and insists that she can find Singh.
Mr. and Mrs. Dearbon come to Ralph's office, and he starts to tell them about Sue. Sue comes in and pretends to meet Ralph for the first time. She claims that she joined a retreat in India and lost track of the time. Mr. Dearbon offers to write Ralph a check, and he leads Sue out to help him look for it. He tells Sue that the diamond had a Black Hole map, and says that Carver's blackmail arsenal burned. Ralph tries to explain about the Mirrorverse and says that her parents are safe. Sue tells him that Carver called her a week ago and claimed that he had a change of heart. Neither one of them believes it, but Sue figures that her parents are safe and she can go home. When Ralph starts to object, Sue tells him to leave it in police.
Dr. Light, Ultraviolet, and Starshine meet at Carver's home, and Dr. Light prepares a gun. Starshine disappears, and Light sees a mirror pane shift as Ultraviolet disappears as well. She grabs her gun and asks who is there, and Eva appears in a mirror and asks if they'll do it the easy way or the hard way. Light fires at the mirror but Eva disappears, then pulls Light into a window behind the killer.
Later, Carver comes in and finds Light gone. He finds no one there, he finds a missile from Light's gun in the mirror and realizes that he needs help, and leaves.
Barry, Ralph, Nash, and Allegra meet at Barry's lab, and Nash says that he encountered a similar Earth to the Mirrorverse. Carver comes in and says that he needs witsec protection, and if he goes in then Joe can come out. Barry realizes that Eva took the three Black Hole villainesses. The heroes have no choice but to agree.
Carla continues running tests on Frost, and says that it would be easier if Caitlin was there to help. Frost offers to help, and when Carla turns down her offer Frost figures that she sees Thomas when she looks at her. Carla comes over and says that least Frost protected Caitlin when she couldn't, and Frost point iou5t that she's a brilliant scientist and doesn't need fixing because she's an awesome human being that Frost would like to get to know better. Carla says that she would like that as well.
The team takes Carver to the CCPD, and wait for the Federal agents to arrive. Singh comes out and says that he's there to escort Carver personally into custody. He then talks to Barry, saying that Barry lets him leave with Carver then Eva will hand over Iris and doesn't want a fight. Barry points out that it felt like a fight at the warehouse and hesitates, and Nash comes over, yanks Barry away, and throws down a grenade that teleports them to STAR Labs. Nash sees "Harry" there, and says that the Barry he knew would never have considered Singh's deal.
The team show Carver video footage of the mirror duplicates of Singh and Kamilla. Carver offers to buy the teleport grenade from Nash, and says that he has a panic room that will keep out Eva. All they need to do is get to McCulloch Tech where he has a protective field set up. They agree to go there through the sewers.
As the others go, Nash asks Barry why he didn't get Carver out when Singh approached him. he says that the other Wells in his head are all screaming at him that the Barry they knew would have hesitated. Nash figures that Barry was considering trading Carver for Barry, and Barry says that he to save his wife. When Barry insists that it's different, Nash asks what Iris will think when she learns Barry traded her life for Carver's.
Barry and Carver go to Carver's office, and he explains that he had the mirror there covered with protective nanites. Carver opens the mirror, revealing the safe room on the other side. He prepares to turn on the protective ion field on the console.
Nash, Allegra, and Ralph are getting the McCulloch employees out. Nash gives Allegra a device she can power with UV rays. When she exasperatedly asks when he's going to stop trying, Nash says never. Meanwhile, Ralph spots Sue going into the interior and goes after her. He figures that Sue offers to take her parents' place in Black Hole. Ralph figures that she joined Black Hole to get close to Carver because she plans to kill him.
Sue says that there's no other way, but Ralph tells her that she'll lose herself and he cares because he believes in her and knows there's still good in her. Sue gasses him unconscious and leaves.
Once the employees are clear, Carver activates the ion field.
Ralph wakes up and sees the power go out, which drops the force field. He suits up, and the three villainesses walk into the lobby. Ultraviolet says that Eva recruited them. Carver offers double what Eva is paying them, and the villainesses say that it's about payback, not a paycheck. They say that they're going to make sure that no one gets in Eva's way when she comes for Carver, and the McCulloch guards attack the villains.
As the two groups fight, Elongated Man gets Allegra to cover. Barry figures that they have to get the ion field up, and Carver says that Barry needs to get to the sub basement and turn the backup generator on. Meanwhile, Carver takes out a phone and starts activating an app on a cell phone.
Barry heads for the backup generator and finds Singh in the hallway, and tells him that he doesn't want to do it. He breaks into shards of glass and Eva emerges from within him. Her hand turns into a laser cannon and she shoots at Barry, knocking him unconscious. She then walks past his unconscious body, heading for Carver.
Light, Ultraviolet, and Starshine knock out the guards. Nash joins Elongated Man and Allegra, and says that the bracelets the villains are wearing are solar power pack. He says that they have to get them off by overloading them, and Allegra says that she's on it. Elongated Man stretches over and grabs Starshine, then weaves out of the way and loses his grip as Light fires on him.
Allegra and her sister Ultraviolet fight, and Ultraviolet says that she was alone and never had a chance, and it's Allegra's fault. She knocks her down, says that Allegra is nothing, and prepares to kill her. Allegra tells her to do it, and Ultraviolet isn't the only one who feels alone. Nash runs over, knocks Ultraviolet down, and tells Allegra to zap a ruby gem. Allegra does so, and the energy knocks Ultraviolet down as Ultraviolet relives the memory of how she was tortuously given her powers.
Elongated Man trips Light, and Sue arrives and knocks her out. Light recovers and Starshine teams up with her. Carver is watching on a monitor, and Eva come out of the reflection on the monitor and confronts him.
Starshine fights Sue, and Light fights Elongated Man.
Eva opens the safe room mirror and then shatters it. Carver says that they should talk about it, and Eva aims her laser cannon. She tells him that there's nothing to talk about after everything he did exploiting her technology, and Carver insists that he did what he had to do. Eva deactivates her laser and says that she'll do what she has to do, telekinetically picks up the mirror pieces, and throws them at Carver. Flash speeds in and blocks them.
Angry, Eva says that Carver isn't worth saving and Flash tells her that it isn't her decision. She says that it is, telekinetically pushes a piece of mirror through Flash's body, and into Carver's chest. Dying, Carver says that his wife died in the explosion. Eva says that she's never felt alive, and he dies saying that she's not even human.
Turning to Flash, Eva says that she's sorry he had to see Carver's death and telekinetically pulls the mirror shards out of Flash's body.
Ultraviolet recovers and joins the other villains, surrounding Nash, Elongated Man, Allegra, and Sue.
Eva tells Barry that they're not enemies, and Iris couldn't catch Carver but together they could. She insists that they're on the same side. Eva calls over the loudspeaker telling the villains to stand down and Carver is dead, and tells Flash that she's letting them go. Flash tells her that they'll never stop coming after her, and Eva tells him that the building is hers and they should leave before she calls the police... and calls Flash "Barry". With that, Eva walks out.
The next day at the CCPD, Eva gives a press statement saying that over the past six years an international crime syndicate held her captive and stole her technology to make weapons. Eva says that Carver eventually found and freed her, but was murdered moment after they were reunited. She vows that she'll be working with the CCPD to find her husband's murdered, and she's resuming her position as CEO of McCulloch Technologies because it's what Carver would have wanted.
That night, Ralph tracks down Sue in her apartment. She says that now Carver is dead, she and her parents are free and she's going home. Ralph says that he's not sure if she can, and tells her that Eva framed Sue for Carver's murder.
Caitlin visits Barry at his apartment, and tells him that he'll find a way to stop Eva and get Iris back. She tells him to remember that it isn't speed that drive him, but love. Caitlin says that at as long as he stays true to himself, he'll always find a way to beat the villains. They hug and Barry says that he'll miss Caitlin. Carla comes in to get Caitlin, and she promises to Barry that she'll get Caitlin and Frost back to his team as soon as possible.
As Caitlin goes, Barry tells Frost to get back and get better so they can go on their whitewater trip together. Caitlin "hears" Frost agrees and as Caitlin goes, she tells Barry to tell the team that she misses them already.
Allegra is working in Barry's office, putting photos of Eva's operative on a board. Nash comes in and says that he's there for her if she needs him. Allegra thanks him for giving her the gem and asks what it did do to Ultraviolet, and Nash says that it made her relive her worst memory. With that, he gives it to Allegra in case she needs it again.
Barry comes in and Barry says that they have hope and Eva doesn't. Cecile comes in with Joe and says that they have reinforcements. Joe and Barry hug, and Joe says that when Carver died, they left the protection detail on him. Barry says that the team needs him more than eve, and Joe says that it's time to save some people they love.
In the Mirrorverse, Iris continues working with the computer. She finally finds Singh at Central City Hospital, and Kamilla realizes that Iris can control the Mirrorverse. Iris' vision distorts and she clutches in her then disappears.
