My God, there are movies of lifetime, good movies, bad movies, horrible movies... What was this?
It is absolutely horrible, if you are thinking about watching it please do yourself a favor do something else, don't even waste your time.
People who engineered this masterpiece should seriously start looking for a career path in some other field, actors; really sorry you had to go through this.
I saw many horrible movies, can not skip something in science fiction, but this is was a complete new chapter for me. This is not a movie, it is a disgrace.

Never before have I seen such a terrible movie. Terrible acting, terrible production, terrible editing, terrible story, terrible concept, terrible video and audio quality, and worst of all, terrible film making. Standard conventions such as setting up the scene at the beginning of each shot, or showing how two characters meet before dialogs as opposed to cutting straight to them talking, were not even adhered to. Scenes that had obvious mistakes and caused the actors to ad lib for a few moments were not cut out for in place of a much needed second take, and the concept is not even original let alone even interesting.
There is not one aspect of this movie I like, it just represents the extreme of people who should not get their hands on a camera, but somehow manage to (passable actors or even a post-pubescent editor seemed to elude their grasp, however). This movie should never have been made and it is a shame that it was as many people will now waste their time, which would be better used watching Manos: The Hands of Fate. The "recommendations" below says it all I suppose.

This film is "The Bomb"!!!!! The scenes were written in rare form and performed exceptionally by the cast... I highly recommend this film to anyone interested in Sci Fi and independent film... The film explores a whole new range of indie subject matter that is rarely touched by the indie producers... Michael Harris did a great job and I take my hat off to New Visions Film Group. Executive Producer Mazola Brown put down a hard, chilling example of an urban sci fi drama. Anyone who needs a thrill from seeing a great movie... I highly recommend this film. Director of Photography Lionel Elder did a great job in the filming style of the film and I think this project will go far... And I'm looking forward to What New Visions Film Group has to offer next.

It's hard to judge a film such as this. Its cold and hard, yet can be exhilarating and sarcastic. It can be average, yet it can be visionary. Exploitive? Satirical? Too many questions to consider when one watches this film.
Don't let the amateur special effects fool you, this movie is ridiculously good. Do whatever you can to find this hidden gem even if you have to steal it...
Even after 1 year, this film still speaks volumes about our current culture, which many ideals are ringing true today. The younger generations are out of control due to lack of parental control, junk culture is becoming commonplace, violence is desensitizing the masses, and we all seem to be enjoying the ride on the way down. It's very difficult to find movies which can make such startling commentary, yet hold on to such accusations for an extended period of time. Nowadays, films are focused-grouped to death, conformity is more powerful than artistry, and money is far more important than quality. This film took a huge leap, challenging society to take a hard look at itself. Unfortunately, society wasn't ready for this film, which is why it is revered now more than ever.
I smell an Oscar nomination

Director Michael K. Harris and New Visions Film Group have done a great job of creating a Sci Fi movie in an urban setting. I appreciate the fact that they are giving so many people opportunities to be involved in film despite the fact that they are a small production house.
The cast performed a wonderful job. Robert Hatch, Tasia Grant and the entire cast did a great job.
The Film was great... the acting was great... and I applaud New Visions Film Group, Mazola Brown, The Cast and Director Michael K. Harris for a tremendous job. This film must be great because I read somewhere that they've already sold 4,000 copies out of the trunk of their car!!!!
I can't wait to see what they do next.

Chip Factor is an eclectic mix of Sci Fi with urban Drama. New Visions Film Group takes it to the hilt pushing the envelope on creativity and talent despite low budget. This film far exceeded my expectations and I applaud New Visions Film Group on a great effort. I highly recommend this film to anyone interested in checking out something new in independent film. The music was great and it played a vital role in bringing out the context of the movie. Director Michael K. Harris proves that you can take a focused group of individuals and make great things happen and this movie is the evidence to prove it. I am glad to see a new brand of film coming out from an independent group from the South. Thanks to you New Visions Film Group.

I heard about this film from a lot of movie viewers, so I bought the film to check it out. I was blown away, not only by the movie cast, plot and special effects, but by the actual concept of human experimentation of microchip implantation.
I have heard this is not too far away from actually happening in the future, if not happening already now. Think about it, the person right next to you could be that person with a mind controlling implant.
I am truly a Sci Fi fan. I can really appreciate New Visions Film Group for producing such a eye opening film and thinking "outside of the box". And I encourage EVERYONE to get this film. This film is fantastic!! The director Michael K. Harris is a visionary.
To New Visions Film Group, very well done with the Chip Factor film!!!

This film is one of the most entertaining independent films I've seen in recent years. Director Michael K. Harris goes beyond expectations with the use of creativity and great acting talent as well. I highly recommend this film to anyone looking for something new and different in independent film.
For the viewer who is looking for films, that think "outside the box", this film is definitely a "keeper". To view this film was a refreshing experience of what can and is happening in a world of modern technology, and not just a myth anymore.
I could appreciate this film going into an area of a different genre style, a Sci Fi drama with an urban flare. To combine this two genres was sheer genius. I commend New Visions Film Group, the director Michael K. Harris and the cast, for their courageous effort to make this film.

New Visions Film Group Does It Again!!! I don't know how they do it. Yes their films are low budget
And Yes they still have a long way to go
but I can see where they were going with "Chip Factor" and I think they are really on to something. This project marks a new era in indie film companies of the South and projects like this are on the edge of more great things to come. The acting was pretty good and the story was great. I can see how with a little budget this project would have been a blockbuster. It's great to see a new film company in town that not only dares to go beyond the limit... but they are willing to even test areas not commonly explored by small budget indie companies. All I can say is that you've got to check it out for yourself.
This film was actually better than I thought... I never expect too much from indie films and actually I was surprised by this one... The directing was pretty good. The guy who played Steve Ballard did a great job and overall the movie was pretty good. I give it a firm 8 overall rating.
Sometimes its hard to judge a film's true potential knowing that the budget presented some limitations to what was trying to be accomplished... however this film still got the point of the story across despite the budget and other limitations.
The music was actually pretty good too. Chuck D. and Slam Jamz did a great job in supplying some of the songs for the film.

I really appreciated the fact that Director Michael K. Harris chose to have a multicultural cast in this film as it makes for a more interesting story. The subplot of each one of their lives led to a great combination of events which definitely kept me entertained throughout. New Visions Film Group seems to have some really great things going on. They seem to be willing to take chances where other indie companies wont and I like where they are taking it. Professor Griff did a great job in the scene he was in as well. It's also good to see Chuck D and Slam Jamz working with an up and coming company. As the music soundtrack did help to bring out the project. Great Movie... I recommend.

Hmmm
who's Idea was this for the story "Chip Factor" Kinda scary. The film was so in tune to what is actually happening today in micro-chip technology. Someone's been doing some extensive research because being a microchip technician myself
I know that some of the facts and information in the film about microchips are actually true. I thought that was great. I like to see a film that at least has some basic concepts of factual information. It just adds to the quality of the story. and this story I really liked. I think Director Harris is doing some great things in the South in independent film. I hear they give a lot of opportunities for people to get involved as well. Great film.

It was really great to see such a multicultural cast in this project
a lot of films I've been seeing recently have been all black or all white or all one ethnicity
and it was good to see many different cultures represented in this film. I applaud this film group for taking the time to involve many kinds of people in their projects. And Maybe thats why I read some where that they sold 4000 copies of the film before they got a distribution deal. I take my hat off to a company who has "The Audacity of Hope" and the ability to make it happen. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to seeing more from this company. New Visions Film Group is the Bomb!!!!!

This film kinda gets up inside you and rips you to pieces then puts you all back together again
It will make you laugh, it will make you cry and laugh at the same time. It will make you want to know more about what these scientists are doing with these microchips. I like this kind of film because it's not your usual typical everyday film. Yes It did not have the bombs and explosions that you might see in a Will Smith movie but it was still great. New Visions Film Group did an excellent job on this one. I like the locations they used as well. They had scenes in this film that you would expect to see in a bigger budget project.
This reminded me of one of those films that would have a part two
it left me hanging for more
I would like to know what ultimately became of some of the characters in the story. This film was funny
it was gory
it was even sexy at times. It also made me think about the future of modern technology. And I really shouldn't even say the future because a lot of the things discussed in the movie are real right now. So yeah... guys... when is the part two coming... I think everyone who sees it will be thinking that it should have a part two... because I know I did. Chip Factor was a good Idea and should be in consideration of showing what happens next. Good job New Visions.
Just wanted to say that Robert Hatch did a great job in this movie Chip Factor. I think the role allowed him to explore the boundaries of his acting capacity. He really showed us what he was made of
and he even pulled off a few stunts. I really appreciated the action value of the film despite the fact that it was low budget. I like Director Michael K. Harris' style and how he puts his movies down. He seems like a "wild and crazy" guy. New Visions Film Group has some really great things going on. I think that ultimately this film will go far. And I definitely look forward to seeing what films they come out with next. The music which I understand some of which is done by Michael Harris, was great.

One thing I can say is that this film Chip Factor had some pretty women. There's a couple of scenes in here where I was really impressed with the cast and the beautiful women that could act pretty good too. A lot of times you see films with great looking people who can't act worth a damn... this film did not fit that category. and I also felt that it was not some typical corny street thug movie. I like the fact that the story and the dialogue had some substance... That guy Robert Hatch did a great job... that's the second movie I've seen him in by New Visions Film Group and he was pretty good. Keep putting those fine women in your films and I'll keep buying them!!!!!!

Overall I thought the film was pretty good however I like movies that have a lot of violence and sex and this film almost did it for me but not quite. Some of the scenes that did involve sexual content could have stood to go just a little further. Not to the point of being porn but maybe just a little more. I usually watch movies late at night with my girlfriend and we like to watch things that get us a little turned on before we get in the bed. And my girl doesn't like to watch porn but she likes movies that can get her a little excited. So overall I think she liked it. I liked it.. and the sex and violence is just something of my personal preference and the sex part is my girl's preference.... but overall... Great Film.

Chip Factor was raw and gritty
reminded me of a Quentin Tarantino movie with a little less budget. I could appreciate the overall story, the quality and the acting of the cast and I think that this film just goes to show you that with a little creativity and ingenuity you can create great things. Director Michael K. Harris had a great cast to work with. With guys like Robert Hatch as Steve Ballard... I think that was a great choice. This up and coming actor is being seen around town in more and more films and it's great to know that they are not wasting time. So we applaud New Visions for creating these opportunities for talented actors and actresses to be involved in more and more indie projects. I always try to support New Visions Film Group and other indie companies and purchase their films when ever I can.
Great Job!!!! Director Michael K. Harris on Chip Factor... This film just goes to show that with a little creativity and clever planning a great project can be created.
This film is not only entertaining but it also explores the realm of microchip technology and how they are being used in our world today and in the future... The cast was great and Professor Griff did a great job as well.
This project will definitely make distributors and others take a closer look at what New Visions Film Group has to offer. I take my hat off to Michael... Mazola... Robert Hatch... and the rest of the cast for a great Job!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see what they do next!!!!

Man you guys must be crazy or smoking something
because this movie was a trip
I never expect too much from indie films that's why I was really surprised as to how far you guys were willing to take it. Writer Michael K. Harris
man you've got to be nuts to put together a crazy story like this. But overall I must say... "Pretty Damn Good". I sat down after dinner the other night and watched it with my new boyfriend from down the street and man we really enjoyed it. I really didn't think I would like it at first... you know... I'm a kinda Charles Bronson... Steve McQueen kinda girl... but I must admit... I actually did like it.
