Fritz kills Tony the police officer with a 6-8 inch long nail to the forehead. Despite only driving about half the length of the nail, Tony bleeds profusely from the back of his head, which would have been impossible given the depth of the injury and the overall length of the nail.
Phil is supposed to be dead and frozen solid as evidenced by the layer of frost over his skin. However, his eye lids are moving and his skin stretches when Carrie and Joel are moving the ice cubes.
