I really like how both main characters need the relationship. There are a lot of romance drama which are unrealistic fantasy which I'm not a fan of, eg. Naive, weak, ordinary, poor, etc female lead who are deadweight in almost all situation but then there are multiple rich, handsome, perfect male characters who are chasing after her. But in this drama the main couple are both flawed but the other character excel at and therefore compliments each other, together they help each other to grow together. I find this concept refreshing and romantic.
While "opposites attract" drama cliche is actually not that realistic scenario (as in irl people are usually attracted to those who share similar interest and hold similar value), in this drama it is more justifiable and realistic because they started as friends during childhood.
Another thing I liked is there is no stupid annoying cliche found in some other romance dramas, like stupid things that hurts the other lead "for the sake of their own good" which causes annoying misunderstandings. The male lead is very clear that he likes her from the beginning, and actually make his life revolve around her, their co-dependency is really interesting honestly.
