17-year-old Michelle is a typical teenager: rebellious, insecure, in love. Her escape from everyday life is dancing to hard hip hop, where she can let it all out. Her mother Susanne must not know about it, however. She wants to leave everything behind that has to do with her old, difficult life on Veddel, now that her new husband is a judge and wealthy. When Lukas Petersen and Jessy Jahnke catch Michelle during an attempted robbery, Susanne almost thinks her daughter is lost. Because it was not her first robbery. Only Jessy senses that something or someone else must be behind it. She believes that gangster rapper Faoud is blackmailing the student. Harry Möller and Piet Wellbrook have to take care of a much older problem child: Zacharias "Zappa" Martens used to be a musician, even in a support act for the Beatles. He has a guitar shop in the neighborhood where Piet used to work. Zappa's life is rock 'n' roll - in every way. When he is brought to the police station, drunk and beaten up, the ghosts of the past cause great unrest in Piet's head.
